These student designers (and makeup artists and models, some being all three) were a force to be reckoned with last night. I was able to sit in with a few of them getting the final seams on pieces just hours before showtime and my mind was blown at the amount of work that got done in such a short amount of time.

The photos I took of the actual show could be called “A Study in Shadows” instead because of how difficult the runway lighting was to shoot with — I don’t know who decided that no major lights on the runway + four bright spotlights on the end platform was a good idea.

Despite that, the work these students put in really shined (pun intended) through. All of the pieces were absolute works of art.
