Since the pageant was the night before elections are held/closed, my turnaround time here had to be especially fast.

I have a love/hate relationship with pageants that’s really only been intensified at the collegiate level — on the one hand, participants are promoting the school and the image of said school, so it makes sense for such an appearance-based event to take place, but on the other hand, I feel like a pageant (which costs even more money to take part in on top of election fees) shouldn’t make up 70% of the final vote.

But that’s just my two cents.
